Terms of Service – LiftServ Google Ads Integration
Terms for authorised internal use.
Effective date: 10 September 2026
These Terms of Service govern the use of the LiftServ Google Ads Integration, an internal application operated by LiftServ Trust / CES North (Pty) Ltd.
The application is intended solely for authorised LiftServ and CES North employees and approved contractors. It is not offered for use by customers, members of the public or unauthorised third parties.
Authorised use
The LiftServ Google Ads Integration may be used only:
- For legitimate LiftServ and CES North business purposes.
- By users who have received appropriate internal authorisation.
- With Google Ads accounts that the organisation is authorised to access or manage.
- In accordance with applicable Google Ads and Google API terms and policies.
- In accordance with the organisation’s internal security and access-control requirements.
Users may not share access credentials, developer tokens, authentication tokens or confidential advertising information with unauthorised persons.
Application functionality
The application may allow authorised users to:
- Retrieve Google Ads account and campaign information.
- Monitor advertising expenditure and campaign performance.
- Review campaigns, advertisements, keywords, search terms and conversions.
- Create or update internally approved advertising campaigns and related settings.
- Import Google Ads information into internal reporting systems.
- Compare advertising performance with internal business outcomes where appropriate.
Available functionality may be changed, limited or withdrawn by LiftServ at any time.
User responsibilities
Authorised users are responsible for:
- Keeping their sign-in credentials secure.
- Using only the Google Ads accounts they are authorised to access.
- Ensuring that campaign changes have the appropriate internal approval.
- Reviewing proposed budgets, advertisements, targeting and other material settings before submitting changes.
- Reporting suspected unauthorised access or security incidents promptly.
- Complying with Google’s applicable terms and policies.
Google account authorisation
Use of the application may require the user to authorise access through Google OAuth. The user must sign in with a Google account that has appropriate access to the relevant Google Ads account.
Google account access can be reviewed or revoked through Google Account permissions. Revoking access may prevent the application from retrieving data or performing authorised Google Ads operations.
Data and privacy
The application’s collection, use, storage and protection of information are governed by the LiftServ Privacy Policy, including its Google API and Google Ads Data section.

Prohibited use
Users may not use the application to:
- Access Google Ads accounts without proper authorisation.
- Circumvent Google account permissions or security controls.
- Conduct unlawful, misleading, fraudulent or unauthorised advertising.
- Extract, sell or distribute Google Ads data to unauthorised third parties.
- Interfere with the security or normal operation of the application.
- Introduce malicious code or attempt to gain unauthorised system access.
- Use the application in a manner that violates Google’s applicable terms, policies or API requirements.
Availability and changes
LiftServ may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the application when required for maintenance, security, operational or compliance reasons.
While reasonable steps will be taken to maintain reliable operation, uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
Advertising decisions and responsibility
Information and recommendations produced by the application are intended to support internal business decisions. Authorised users remain responsible for reviewing and approving advertising campaigns, budgets, targeting, advertisements and other material account changes.
The application does not guarantee performance, revenue, lead-generation or advertising results.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, LiftServ will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from unauthorised use, third-party service interruptions, inaccurate source information or a user’s failure to review advertising changes.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Termination of access
LiftServ may suspend or terminate a user’s access if:
- The user no longer requires access for their work.
- The user leaves the organisation or ends the relevant contractor relationship.
- Access is misused or presents a security risk.
- Continued access could violate applicable law or Google policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to any mandatory applicable legal requirements.
